I Never Thought I'd Get This Excited Over So Much Wood...

The UPS man dropped this off today and I'm thinking of calling in drunk so I can chop at home rather than chop at work. After years using invariably warped, stained and partially melted SYSCO cutting boards in my professional life, this chopping block is pure luxury.

I was first struck by its girth. Sure, I read the measurements before buying it, but as any of my exes can tell you, my ability to interpret length & width is sadly lacking.

Smooth. Level. Heavy. A poor man's butcher block island.

No more dicing directly on the Formica!

Get it. Hell, get two for no good reason.
